Lighting & Furniture
We design a floating and light ceiling using woven rattan pendants in various shapes and sizes, adding preserved tall grass between the pendants. These natural, organic shapes and materials add warmth and texture to the space, reinforcing the bohemian theme while also providing soft, ambient light.
The furniture is simple and comfortable, with a rustic, white-washed wood finish and cushioned seats in light brown and tan colors. This combination maintains a natural, understated look while offering comfort. The tables are small and made of a light stone and timber laminate, which pairs well with the minimalist aesthetic.
Materials and textures
We emphasize natural materials such as wood, rattan, and stone. The flooring is a light engineered wood, which complements the furniture and enhances the airy, open feel of the space.
We also incorporat subtle greenery, with small plants on tables or in wall niches, bringing in a touch of nature that enhances the earthy, organic vibe. The vertical wooden slats on the walls add texture and a sense of height, contributing to the overall natural theme.
The takeaway space feels airy, organized, and inviting, balancing functionality with style. The design is modern and clean, with enough warmth and personality to create a comfortable environment for customers, whether they are grabbing a quick coffee or browsing merchandise.
Takeaway in the house
Our goal was to design a space that caters to both those who want to sit in and enjoy their time, as well as those who are in a rush and need a convenient takeaway option. This flexible setup allows for varied opening hours, ensuring that the space can accommodate everyone’s needs.
We bring a focal point to the space in a shape of an arch, with the vibrant orange-red accent a focal point of the space. This feature adds a sense of depth and interest to the wall while also serving as a visual anchor for the bar seating area. The curved shape contrasts with the otherwise linear design, softening the space. To the right, there is a small display area for clothing or other merchandise. This retail component is integrated seamlessly into the design, with the neutral tones of the hanging garments blending well with the overall palette.
